The Hosts

The Prinzregent Hotel has a long and successful history. The Adelmann family is running the third-generation Prinzregent Hotel. The operational management of the family-run private hotel was handed down to Kathrin Adelmann by her great-aunts and mother-in-law.

Her little daughters Lucie and Stella already set the course for the future. Their father Marcus Adelmann runs his own company, but is always a source of advice and support for his girls.

History

The magnificent Art Nouveau building was built in 1909 by the well-known architects Peringer & Rogler. The Adelmann family acquired the building in 1951 from the then owner.
The partly-destroyed mansion gained new glory under Elisabeth Adelmann’s leadership. She and her sisters Käthe and Rosa Hager opened a guest house. Later on, Brigitte Adelmann, being the second generation, upgraded the Prinzregent into on of Nuremberg’s fanciest private hotels in 1975. Under Kathrin Adelmann’s management, profound changes and substantial renovation measures followed since 2011. More than ever, the historic building nowadays is an genuine architectural gem by the Wöhrder lake.

Team

Our beautiful hotel provides a lot of ingredients for a pleasant stay, yet our experienced team plays an important role to satisfy our guests! Young and old continuously make an effort to make your stay at the Prinzregent perfect. We keep our eyes open to your personal desires – always with a smile on our face.

Sustainability

Environmental protection, resource conservation, and social commitment are very important to us—we, too, want to do our part as a family-run hotel:

  • DEHOGA "Gold" Environmental Check certification
  • We plant 100 trees annually in partnership with the organization Plant-My-Tree
  • We donate "comfort teddy bears" every year to sick and injured children
  • Our hotel rooms are cleaned using micro-steam technology—no chemical cleaning agents required
  • We place great importance on regional and homemade products
  • We have virtually eliminated single-use packaging from our buffet and hotel rooms
  • We source 100% genuine green electricity generated from renewable sources
  • We provide four charging stations for electric cars and a spacious bicycle garage with charging facilities for e-bikes

We are a dog friendly hotel

Your four-legged friends are also extremely welcome! Just a few steps away you can go for a walk with your dog on the Wöhrder Wiese. We are happy to provide a water and food bowl as well as a snack, these are already included in the daily additional fee of 15 euros. We ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed in the main breakfast room. However, your friends are welcome to come along in our lounge or in the private room.
