Whole of Nuremberg is in party mode again! Because from 7th to the 9th of june 2024 the well-known Rock im Park music festival will take place.
It will be days when there is a state of emergency around the Volksfestplatz, Zeppelinfeld and the dozen pond. Most festival-goers camp on-site so they're close to the action and don't miss a minute. But more and more visitors like to stay in the hotel, so we have also accommodated numerous Rock-Im-Park visitors in the Hotel Prinzregent. Every year after Pentecost, over 70,000 rock fans make the pilgrimage to the south of Nuremberg. Their goal: Rock in the Park!
The festival moved from Vienna via Munich to Nuremberg and has been based there since 1997. After stops at the Frankenstadion and Luitpoldhain, it is now setting up its three stages at the Zeppelinfeld. And has already attracted bands like Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkin Park and Depeche Mode to the dozen pond. The festival, which lasts three days, is musically dedicated to rock and its varieties. From indie to stoner to punk rock, everything is represented. And with heavy metal and hardcore, fans of the heavier style will get their money's worth. However, the festival is also increasingly opening up to other genres of music such as rap, hip hop and electro.
