Nuremberg Christkindlesmarket from the 29th of November 2024 to 24th of December 2024
The Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt is one of the oldest Christmas markets in Germany. The opening ceremony with the Christ Kindl will take place on Friday, December 1st, 2024.
Equally worth seeing and well attended are the children's Christmas market and the star house, the market of the twin towns and the Nuremberg children's parade of lights. More than 160 wooden stalls, decorated with red and white fabric, ensure a romantic Christmas atmosphere, giving the Christmas market the nickname "little town made of wood and cloth". Here the visitor will find the famous Nuremberg gingerbread, fruit bread and the classic gold foil angels. Numerous stalls sell the famous Nuremberg sausages known as "3 im Weggla", which are also sold in organic quality. In the cool temperatures, a mulled wine warms you up quickly.
Of course, there is also children's punch, as well as white mulled wine or regional berry mulled wine. New mugs of mulled wine are designed every year, which are seeked after collector's items and are a particularly nice souvenir for the home kitchen.
