Germany's largest music festival with free admission will take place from 26 to 28 July 2024.
Every year, more than 200,000 visitors find their way to the well-known bards' meeting in Nuremberg's old town, where numerous singers and groups from all over the world can be heard and seen. On the main market, behind the Lorenz Church, as well as on the island of Schütt and other places, large stages are set up for the various artists. The many street musicians can be found between the stages and in the small streets with interesting and varied music. The concept of music and content is based on the three pillars of “traditions”, “trends” and “experiments”, in which – without being arbitrary – the singer-songwriters of the new school and the songwriters of the old school have their place just as much as musicians from the most diverse branches of contemporary world music / global pop.
